If you love and respect the underwater world and want to have fun, being a WAVE Foundation volunteer is for you. WAVE Foundation has 500 volunteers that perform different responsibilities in our community and at Newport Aquarium. In return for your time, you will discover the wonders of the aquatic life and the importance of conservation while meeting people from around the world. WAVE Foundation is always looking for volunteers with diverse backgrounds. Each volunteer is a treasured addition to our WAVE family.

Who Can Volunteer?
Anyone! No fish experience is needed. Year-round volunteers must be 18 years or older, younger volunteers are welcome to join the Summer Naturalist and Jr. Camp Counselor Programs.
Volunteer Schedules
We’re flexible. We appreciate and value your time and have several volunteer options so one is bound to fit into your schedule. We need volunteers on weekdays, weekends and evenings for a range of special events.
