Are you interested in learning more about careers in biology, environmental education, veterinary medicine, diving, and more? WAVE Foundation is excited to offer teen and adult students the opportunity to talk to professionals in these fields through our Career Exploration Panels.
These panels are offered on a quarterly basis and have 3-5 professionals on the panel to discuss their work, education, and how they got where they are today. Our panelist will also answer questions from participants.

Tami Ware is an Interpretive Keeper at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, where she connects guests with wildlife through engaging education programs and ambassador animal encounters. Tami followed a non-traditional path into zookeeping, building her career through volunteering, internships, and hands-on experience. She works with a wide variety of animals and is passionate about conservation storytelling. She contributes to conservation both locally and globally, serving as a zoo liaison on sloth conservation initiatives supported by Cincinnati Zoo grants. Tami has been active in the zoo community for several years, including leadership roles in professional organizations such as the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK).

Chloe Terzakis is an Interpreter with Great Parks of Hamilton County, where she educates visitors about the region's natural and cultural history through engaging interpretive programs. Chloe supports environmental education and public engagement across the park system, helping inspire stewardship of local natural resources. Chloe previously supported the parks through natural resources management. Chloe holds a Bachelor of Science from Miami University, where they cultivated their passion for conservation and community engagement.
