WAVE Programs Made to Inspire
Our Onsite Programs are held right here at the WAVE Education Center. These programs can utilize all of the amazing resources keep in our classrooms, from aquatic artifacts to fishy friends.
Many of our Onsite Programs include visits to Newport Aquarium as well! These visits allow for an even richer learning experience for all our participants.
Camp WAVE
Make spring break, days off, and summer vacation memorable with Camp WAVE! Hosted at the WAVE Education Center at Newport on the Levee with daily trips to the Newport Aquarium to experience the wonder of aquatic creatures first-hand.
Early Childhood Programs
There are so many opportunities for fun and learning at the WAVE Education Center for young children. WAVE offers two different early childhood programs with animal ambassadors, crafts, and story time that will engage and inspire kiddos to love nature.
Gills Club
In partnership with Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, Gills Club helps kids, especially girls, ages 8-13 build confidence in STEM. Gills connect with scientists actively working in STEM-related fields and facilitate ocean conservation!
Homeschool Learning Lab
Our Homeschool Learning Lab program is designed to give your kiddos hands-on science education. This standards-based, 2 hour program is designed to support your curriculum needs and get your students excited about science!
Field Trip Classroom Experience
Our Field Trip Classroom Experience is a great way to enhance any field trip to Newport Aquarium! Have your students learn about science and conservation with a hands-on activity and lesson before heading down to the aquarium floor to see science in action!
