Education programs are the heart of WAVE’s mission to inspire and foster environmental stewards. We offer animal ambassador visits around the tri-state area, after-school learning programs, spring and summer camps, preschool and toddler programs, professional development, and more!
Saving the Planet
Conservation is more than an action, it’s saving lives. WAVE makes a difference through river clean-ups, supporting ocean conservation, teaching about endangered species, and committing to sustainability in all we do. We partner with other conservation nonprofits locally, nationally, and globally to protect our planet!
Leading by Example
Volunteering with WAVE Foundation at Newport Aquarium offers many benefits and opportunities for fun. There are many different opportunities to volunteer that will fit your skillset and passions. Internships are also available throughout the year to help build resumes and prepare students for careers in environmental education and more!
Encouraging Fun
WAVE’s events and fundraisers encourage folks to take action and have fun while they’re at it! Proceeds from events go to supporting our various programs and increasing the accessibility and reach of conservation education. Get involved by attending Nauti Nite, Putt for Penguins, Conservation Conversations, and River Sweep!
